I’m a Vancouver-based photographer, specializing in maternity, motherhood, and creative portraits photography. I grew up in the late 90s and early 2000s when MSN messenger was the most popular messaging app and everyone at school was talking about the OC.
Growing up, I loved my computer, even with the shitty dial up connection. I spent copious amounts of time playing computer games—Petz, Rollercoaster Tycoon, Sims, Diablo, Star Craft and Neopets were amongst my favourites. I got something out of it, though: the Internet was the place that first introduced me to Photoshop where I could unleash my creativity. Granted, my work was a far cry from a masterpiece at the time, but it was what sparked my love for art, photography in particular.
I love the colour green and I’ll be rocking my green hair until the day it falls out. I’m a kid at heart and I love having fun, especially when I can combine it with my work. As a photographer, I place emphasis on making my clients feel comfortable: I’m a firm believer that your photoshoot shouldn’t be a stiff, formal, stressful event but rather a fun, exciting occasion! I focus on building trust with my clients and treat each and every one of them as a friend.
I love portrait photography. I have a passion for the woman’s journey and I love nothing more than photographing women in all stages of life. While I’m fun, laid-back and relaxed, I also pride myself on my professionalism and I take my work extremely seriously. I’m honoured and beyond excited to help capture your true self!
