Becoming a mother is an incredibly fulfilling milestone that will change your life and your family forever. Make sure to capture those fleeting special moments and the beauty of your growing family (and belly!) with custom maternity portraits.
I WANT TO MAKE YOU FEEL BEAUTIFUL.
I understand every woman’s pregnancy is different and comes with its own challenges as the body is experiencing major change from symptoms you might expect to ones that are completely out of the blue, and as a full service boutique photographer, my goal is to make you feel just as gorgeous and radiant as you can possibly feel during this precious time.
When booking your maternity photography session, I will ensure you feel confident throughout the experience and provide guidance on the most flattering poses and lighting. The end result? Stunning maternity portraits that will remain cherished mementos for long after your baby has arrived.
Maternity photography sessions are done either in the most stunning Vancouver nature spots, all year-round, or at my home studio in Downtown Vancouver. I recommend booking your maternity session between 30-36 weeks of your pregnancy.
As the time window for maternity shots is quite brief, I suggest you book several months in advance. This ensures we can secure your ideal session date. Once you have booked your maternity photography session, I will prepare a brief questionnaire and we will discuss your vision, including desired outfits, props, location and more.
Every pregnancy is unique, which is why I customize each of my maternity sessions to reflect your personal vision. I also offer milk bath photography for all in studio maternity photography sessions. It’s important for me to give everyone enough time to change wardrobe, touch up on hair and makeup, take breaks, change set ups and ultimately get the “shot”. I promise your session with me will never be rushed.

The maternity photography session doesn’t include digital or print images. The session fee is required to secure the booking date and includes the planning of your photoshoot, the use of wardrobe and headpieces, the photographers time and the use of studio equipments.
Please keep in mind I have a quality over quantity approach towards my work, meaning that I take the time to create a variety of different photo setups, utilizing various lighting techniques, wardrobe selection, backdrops, multiple props and poses ensuring that you’ll walk away with a multitude of images that are unique from one another. My collections reflect the amount of hours I spend on preparing your different photo setups and the retouching process. The higher the collection you choose the more variety in photos you will receive.
Note: I do not batch process my edits. All images you receive are individually retouched and each photo can take anywhere between 45 mins to 1 hr.
My retouching process consists of cleaning the background, hair retouching, skin retouching/smoothing, slight contouring of the body, and colour grading.

The best time for a maternity session is between 30-36 weeks. Every woman's pregnancy is different, especially if you're having twins so it's best to plan ahead of time and adjust as needed.
It's always best to book your session in advance. This gives us plenty of time to plan and prepare for the session and make it an exciting and memorable experience for you. I recommend reaching out to me at least 2 months prior from your preferred date to guarantee availability.
Yep! I have a small collection of designer gowns, headpieces and a colourful selection of chiffon and silk fabrics you can pick from for your shoot.
All sessions include a consultation (done through a Zoom call) to discuss goals for your session and artwork, style, clothes, and props, etc. The use of the studio and studio equipments. Professional hair & makeup will take place at my studio before our session begins. For in studio sessions, our hair and makeup artist will stay during the whole session to make sure you’re always looking flawless. Spouses and older children are absolutely welcome and involved in each portrait.
Within 48 hours, I will upload all photos onto an online gallery, and from there you will select the ones you want and edited. After you've selected your choices, approximately two weeks later we will have our preview and ordering session where we will view the final digital artworks and go over the best ways to display your custom art using interior design software that will allow you to see your portraits on your very own walls. From here you will be able to create your own collection.
This is a special day for you and should not be rushed, so I recommend not planning anything for the day. Hair & makeup can take anywhere from 1.5 to 2 hours. Once you're all glammed up that's when the fun begins. If we are shooting on location, I will meet you and your husband at the destination, otherwise we will begin our session at the studio. I will fully guide you and help you feel as natural and comfortable throughout your shoot. The photo session can last up to anywhere between 2.5 to 3 hours. Expect to be at my studio for at least 5 hours (incl hair & makeup, outfit changes, and breaks). Although refreshments will be provided, I recommend to bring snacks or a small meal with you on the day of your session.
I have very flexible package building options that will allow you to pick and choose what works best for you. One option will allow you to keep all your memories plus a signature art product and the other will allow you to narrow to only your favourites. To find out full details lets chat!
In order to reschedule your boudoir shoot without losing your session fee or incurring an additional fee, you must reschedule 14 days before your shoot. You can reschedule within this time frame ONE time only. Exceptions for the policy cannot be made as my time booked and ready is to accommodate you in advance that would not be there otherwise. Thank you for your understanding.
Due to the custom nature of photography, the session fee and any products ordered are non-refundable. All retouched images, wall art and album customizations will have your final approval before they ever go out.
